Terms of Service

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use it with the permission of a parent or guardian, who agrees to these terms on your behalf.

You may only hold one account. Accounts are personal and can’t be sold, shared or transferred.

• You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email, or with Google or Apple. Keep access to that email or account secure.
• You set a PIN to protect your account, and you can choose to unlock with Face ID, Touch ID or fingerprint on your device. Don’t share your PIN with anyone.
• You’re responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at support@knowitall.app if you think someone else has accessed it.
• Give us accurate information and keep it up to date.

Your username, profile photo and results can be seen by other players, including on leaderboards. Don’t choose a username or photo that is offensive, hateful, sexual, impersonates someone else, or infringes someone’s rights. We may change or remove a username or photo that breaks this rule.

KnowItAll is a game of knowledge and speed, and it only works if everyone plays fairly. When you play, you agree not to:

• use bots, scripts, automated tools or modified versions of the app;
• share questions or answers with other players while a game is still open, or play together on one account;
• create or use more than one account, or play on someone else’s account;
• exploit bugs, tamper with the Service, or interfere with how scores, timers or leaderboards work;
• harass, abuse or threaten other players.

We may review games for suspicious activity. If we believe you have broken these rules, we may remove your results, reset your streak, or suspend or close your account.

• Scores are calculated by our servers from the answers we receive. Your rank is based on your score, then on how long you took.
• Each game can be played once. Answers are final once you’ve picked them, and a timed game ends when its clock runs out, even if you left the app.
• We try hard to make every question accurate. If a question turns out to be wrong or unclear, we may correct it and recalculate scores and rankings.
• A lost connection or device problem can affect a game. We aren’t able to replay or restore games in those cases.

KnowItAll is free to play. If we ever run a competition with prizes, it will have its own rules, which will be shown before it starts and will apply alongside these terms.

The app, its design, questions, images and other content belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for your own entertainment. You may not copy, scrape, resell or republish our questions or content without our written permission.

If you allow notifications, we’ll send reminders about games you’ve registered for, activity from friends, and occasional announcements. You can turn these off in the app or in your device settings.

You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile, then Account Information, then Delete account). Deletion takes effect after a 30-day grace period, during which you can sign back in to cancel it.

We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, if we’re required to by law, or to protect other players or the Service. Where it’s reasonable, we’ll tell you why.

We’re always improving KnowItAll, so features, games and rules may change. We may also pause or stop the Service. We’ll give notice of significant changes where we reasonably can.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We don’t promise that it will always be available, error-free or that every question will be accurate. Quiz content is for entertainment and shouldn’t be relied on as professional advice.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of data, scores, streaks or rankings, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.

These terms are governed by applicable laws in your jurisdiction. Any dispute will be handled by competent local courts unless consumer protection laws state otherwise.

We may update these terms from time to time. We’ll change the date at the top and, for significant changes, let you know in the app or by email. If you keep using the Service after changes take effect, you accept the updated terms.
